Properties of N42 Neodymium Magnets

  • Physical and Mechanical Strength: N42 Neo magnets are brittle and at risk of chipping or breaking when subjected to stress. Furthermore, their iron content makes them susceptible to corrosion when exposed to corrosive or humid environments.
  • Remanence: After you magnetize a magnet, the magnetic flux density it retains defines its remanence. N42 NIB magnets have a remanence of around 1.24 to 1.28 tesla (T) indicating their strong ability to retain magnetism.
